Michel's SGP Leg 1: Panthers ML

I took this bet in Game 4 and lost, but I'm taking it again in Game 5. Since 2007, teams that have gone up 3-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals win the series ten times out of ten. The question isn't if but when Florida wins.

And why not as the series returns to the Sunshine State? The Panthers are 8-3SU in the playoffs at home and 3-0SU against the Oilers in Sunrise.

Oh and with two days of rest, Florida holds a 15-1SU record this season.

Tonight, they win and put their names on the Cup.

Michel's SGP Leg 2: Panthers P1 ML

I'm so down with the Panthers on the moneyline that I'm doubling down with the P1 moneyline bet. This is a pure vibes play because Florida hasn't been great at winning the first period (at home) on the year with a 17-15-20 (33%) record.

But with the series on the line and with the potential of getting their names etched on the Cup forever, you know these Panthers will come out flying to put a dagger in whatever hope the Oilers have.

Michel's SGP Leg 3: Both Teams To Score (YES)

The Oilers have solved Sergei Bobrovsky with eight goals against him in his last two outings. To me, there's no question they can get at least one goal as they try to save their season.

While Bob got a shutout in Game 1, that was only the fourth time in 104 games that Edmonton was blanked this year. They've scored at least once in 96% of their games.

You know I believe Florida will score because I think they win. But just in case, the Panthers haven't been kept scoreless since March 21 and have been scoring an average of 3.2 goals per game in the playoffs. So yeah, they'll score too.

Josie's SGP Leg 1: UNDER 5.5

Okay, Edmonton got it all out last game by piling on eight goals. I think they get all the necessary goal-scoring out of their system. The UNDER has hit in seven-straight road playoff meetings for the Oilers.

In that span, Edmonton scored just a total of nine goals. To back up that trend even more, the Panthers have hit the UNDER in four-straight hostings at Amerant Bank Arena.

Josie's SGP Leg 2: Bobrovsky UNDER 2.5 Goals

Speaking of the UNDERs, as I mentioned in our expert picks, Bobrovsky doesn’t have consecutive uneasy performances. Of the three times he’s allowed five or more goals, he’s conceded just two or fewer in the games that followed — all which were wins, BTW. In fact, in his last four starts in Florida, the 35-year-old has allowed two goals or fewer.

josie's SGP Leg 3: McDavid UNDER 2.5 SOG

McDavid got a taste of a potential Stanley Cup Final comeback. But, if there’s anything I’ve witnessed this series is that the Oilers have more success when McDavid shoots less and passes more.

Last game, the captain had just two shots in the 8-1 win but lended a helpful hand with three assists. Stick to the playmaking, Connor. If my previous picks don’t suggest it enough already, I’m calling a tight game from both sides.
