PM Pick of the Day August 25

MLB Same-Game Parlay April 24: Tigers vs Rays (+350)

It's Wednesday (a day that ends in Y), so we've got more MLB same-game parlay picks for you.

This time, we're tackling the Tigers vs Rays game at 6:50 p.m. ET in Tampa Bay. Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:

Tigers vs Rays Same-Game Parlay: April 24

The Game: Tigers vs Rays - 6:50 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Isaac Paredes OVER 0.5 Total Bases-165
UNDER 8.0 Runs-110
Jack Flaherty OVER 5.5 Strikeouts-155
Overall+350

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Paredes OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-165)

Big Isaac has been sticking it lately. The 25-year-old is slashing .333/.421/.546 over his last nine games. His discipline has been even more impressive. Paredes has five walks and just six strikeouts during that span.

Paredes has always been a power hitter, but right now he's working his walks and jacking that OBP up. Patient Paredes is the best Paredes. He is also 1-for-3 lifetime vs Tigers starter Jack Flaherty.

This is a safe bet at -165.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: UNDER 8.0 Runs (-110)

Eight runs seem like a low total, but there's a weird trend going on with the Tigers. Allow me to explain. Detroit has seen an 8.0-run total or an 8.5-run total 10 times this year. In those contests, the Tigers are 6-3-1 O/U/P.

The total has gone UNDER 8.0 in the first two games of this series, too.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Flaherty OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-155)

Flaherty is back to his best form. The Tigers righty has come out of the gate shoving, spinning four straight outings of six innings or more. Flaherty has hit the OVER 5.5 strikeouts in three of four contests.
