Knicks vs. Sixers Game 2

NBA Playoffs 2024 Same-Game Parlay: Knicks vs. 76ers Game 3

Some controversial non-calls in Game 2 should inspire the Philadelphia 76ers as they head home on Thursday for Game 3 trailing 0-2 to the New York Knicks in their best-of-seven series.

Let's put together a same-game parlay and win some money.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Philadelphia 76ers ATS -5

This feels like the type of game which could get away from the Knicks in a hurry, if only because the Sixers should be motivated after the league admitted to several missed calls in its L2M report which had a profound impact on the end result.

The five-point spread is the largest of the series, thus far, as Philadelphia entered as 4.5-point underdogs in each of the first two games at Madison Square Garden. The Sixers won SU seven-straight times and went 5-2 ATS to close out the regular season as favorites of five points or more at home, and then again in the play-in tournament against the Miami Heat, although they didn't cover that night with a one-point win.

A lot rides on Joel Embiid's health, as anyone with a working set of eyes has taken notice of the fact that he is nowhere near 100 percent, especially after dropping to the hardwood in pain after a dunk off glass in Game 1. He's still averaging 31.5 points, nine rebounds, and six assists despite his injuries, and in front of a raucous hometown crowd on Thursday, should match such production to get the Sixers back in this series in convincing fashion.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Kyle Lowry OVER 7.5 Points

"KLOE" stands for "Kyle Lowry Over Everything," which Toronto Raptors fans loudly cheered on social media for many, many years. On Thursday, bettors will be cheering for "Kyle Lowry OVER 7.5" in Game 3 after a humdrum performance from the veteran point guard in Game 2.

Lowry had eight points on six shot attempts in 33 minutes of action, which still would have hit the OVER, but just by the skin of his teeth. His 18-point effort in Game 1 is more like it, but whether or not he can replicate anything close to that at home remains to be seen.

He toppled 7.5 points on 11 out of a possible 23 occasions in 2023-24 wearing Sixers colors, and he's averaging 36.2 minutes per game in the playoffs. Nailing this leg of the parlay is well within reach.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Josh Hart 2+ Made 3-Pointers

The Swiss army knife of the Knicks in Josh Hart rarely gets a chance to sit and catch his breath these days, averaging 44.9 minutes through two games with incredible numbers across the board.

Hart is contributing 21.5 points, an insane 14.5 rebounds as a 6-foot-4 guard, 2.5 assists, and 15 steals in this series. For the sake of this leg, though, we're rolling with his 3-point efficiency to help us nail this same-game parlay, as Hart has converted 8-of-15 shots from the perimeter at a 53.3 percent clip.

He's been hot from deep so far, but this could simply be a streak of good fortune as Hart shot a career-worst 31 percent from distance during the season. Two makes is a reasonable request, if only because he's found a rhythm when it matters most.
