Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Atlanta Hawks ATS +16.5

A 16.5-point spread hints that oddsmakers feel the Celtics are going to bring hellfire and brimstone to their rematch with Atlanta after getting stunned in their previous meeting. Boston didn't have either Jrue Holiday or Derrick White on that night, but White has been upgraded to probable for Thursday while Holiday's status remains in question.

With a full unit at its disposal, Boston could very well cover such an enormous spread. However, in their only three other games this season when favored by at least that much, the Celtics managed to cover just once.

We'll give the Hawks a tad more respect to put up more of a fight than what oddsmakers are giving them credit for. The Celtics will be out for blood, but 16.5 is a huge number and one that's been covered by the favorite less than 50 percent (45.5 percent, to be exact) of the time in 2023-24.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: De'Andre Hunter OVER 17.5 Points

De'Andre Hunter's box scores are a mashmash of hot and cold scoring, making props of his all the more worrisome as bettors never quite know what they're going to get from the 26-year-old forward.

He did finish with 24 points on March 25 against Boston, but followed that up with just 13 points the next game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Atlanta looks for offense in many ways, shapes, and forms since Trae Young got hurt, primarily focusing on Dejounte Murray and Bogdan Bogdanovic to carry the load. Hunter is still in that top mix, though, and finishing with at least 18 points seems reasonable after he just had 24 under these exact circumstances earlier in the week.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Jayson Tatum 3+ Made 3-Pointers

Having Holiday and/or White back in the rotation could hurt Jayson Tatum's numbers, even more so if Boston gets up early and begins to rest its starters.

Nonetheless, we'll cross our fingers and toes that the All-Star forward will convert at least three shots from distance, which he's done eight times in the month of March.

Tatum only nailed two against Atlanta the last time around, but his seven attempts were a healthy amount from behind the arc and one he'll likely replicate again on Thursday.
