Same-Game Parlay Leg 1: Bruins ML

Since 2020, in the following playoff game after going to overtime, the Leafs are 2-5SU. They've also lost both games at home in this series. So, they're not going into this one on the right foot.

At the time of writing the line is a -110 pick 'em. That doesn't bode well for Toronto. They're a dismal 0-3SU when -110 on the ML against Boston this year. And 0-2 at home. I know I've been calling for the Leafs' elimination for a while now. But tonight is really the night.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 2: Bertuzzi OVER 2.5

Aside from Game 1, Bertuzzi has hit the OVER on this shot prop in four straight outings. Last game, in a close back-and-forth, the 29-year-old snapped three shots. Now, still on the brink of elimination, I don’t expect the passion to fade. For Bertuzzi, this is an intense series against his former team, and he’ll want the last laugh.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 3: Nylander UNDER 3.5

Without Matthews on the ice last meeting, Nylander stepped up to the offensive podium, sniping five shots with no luck. There’s no denying the pressure is riding on him with Matthews unable to play again tonight.

But Willy doesn't often get pucks on the net when Matthews isn't there. In 41 games over his career where Matthews didn't play, Nylander hit UNDER 3.5 shots 27 times, or two-thirds of the games. He only hit OVER 33%.

The pressure is on and Boston's attention can be all on Nylander without Matthews out there.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 4: Under 1.5 Goals P1

Three of five games have seen the first-period total go UNDER in this series. Looking at the eight games these two Original Six sides have played this year, the first-period UNDER is 75% at 6-2. Focus specifically on games played in Toronto and it's 3-1 (again 75%).

And with Swayman starting I like this bet even more. Swayze (I can only assume that's his nickname, seems like a missed opportunity if not), is 5-2 against the first-period UNDER and has only allowed a single goal by the Leafs in those seven games. It was that Jake McCabe goal in Game 5. That's it!
