Jose Ramirez and the Guardians are big underdogs Wednesday in Guardians vs Twins odds.

MLB Same-Game Parlay May 6: Tigers vs Guardians (+575)

Show me a baseball bettor who doesn't love an MLB same-game parlay, and I'll show you a liar.

For Monday, we're highlighting the Tigers vs Guardians matchup, with first pitch scheduled for 6:10 p.m. in Cleveland.

Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:

Tigers vs Guardians Same-Game Parlay: May 6

The Game: Tigers vs Guardians - 6:10 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Riley Greene OVER 1.5 Total Bases+125
Jack Flaherty OVER 5.5 Strikeouts-115
Tigers ML+100
Overall+575

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Riley Greene OVER 1.5 total bases (+125)

I'll start by noting how hot Greene has been lately. The 23-year-old is slashing .327/.414/.627 with five homers over his last 13 games. He's been cashing prop overs, too, lately. Greene has hit the OVER 1.5 total bases in five of his last six contests.

While it helps that Greene is on a heater, that's not really why I dig this bet. It has to do with Guardians starter Triston McKenzie. The slender right-hander is quite vulnerable to left-handed hitters, such as Greene, who've slugged .446 off him with four homers in six games. Greene also owns a .962 OPS vs RHPs this year.

I get the sneaky feeling Greene could go yard in this game, too, but with that prop at +425, it's not worth risking in a same-game parlay. Stick to total bases for this format.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Flaherty OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-110)

Yes, it's easy to back the Tigers starter after his incredible 14-strikeout performance last time around. I see something different in the Guardians lineup he can exploit Monday.

Cleveland has always been a high-contact, low-strikeout squad. This year, though, the Guardians have been less disciplined and are whiffing more. That's a perfect match for Flaherty, who has crushed the OVER 5.5 Ks in four straight and five of his last six, with his lone UNDER coming by 0.5 Ks.

While the Guardians remain sixth-best in strikeout rate (20%), Steven Kwan (their top contact artist) is now on the injured list, replaced on the roster by Kyle Manzardo, a big lefty slugger with a propensity for strikeouts. Kwan's absence changes the makeup of the lineup, and it'll help Flaherty get off to a hot start.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Tigers ML (+100)

I've laid out several reasons why the Tigers can take this one. Flaherty gets the pitching edge over McKenzie, and I love the Tigers left-handed hitters to do serious damage. Kerry Carpenter is another slugger I'm counting on for this bet. He's a solid total bases OVER bet (+115) but I'm sticking with Tigers ML for this last leg.
