Vancouver Canucks vs Nashville Predators Series Preview

Michel's Take: I've lost my touch when it comes to this series. Up is down and North is South. I typically look at the xG to handicap future games. And well, xG isn't telling me much here. In four of the five games, the team that won the xG lost the game.

But look, the last three games have been decided by a single goal. Not to mention that the dogs are 4-0 in the last four. With the way this series is shaping I'm going to play it safe.

There isn't a ton of value in taking Vancouver at +1.5. With -250 odds you're looking at $4.00 of profit on a $10 bet.

Josie's Take: This series has uno-reversed us. Despite returning to Bridgestone Arena, there's no upper hand for Nashville with the road teams being 4-0 in the last four outings.

Being favored means nothing either as the underdogs are 4-0 in the last four meetings, too. Regardless of the revolving door of goalies, Vancouver has managed a grip on this series.

I'm not convinced the Preds have come up with a consistent game plan against the Canucks.

Michel's Pick: Canucks +1.5 (-250)
Josie's Pick: Canucks ML (+110)

Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars Series Preview

Michel's Take: First period OVER is where I'm going here. OVER 1.5 goals is at -120 and look four of the five games have gone OVER. Had you bet the first period OVER in all five games you'd be up 2.48 units. On the season, the Stars have been great at hitting the first period OVER at 55%.

We're going to do it again, today.

Side bet, because I believe goals will be scored in the first 20 minutes we've got to take a look at first goal-scorer bets. Jack Eichel has the fourth-most goals in the first period (8) this season. His odds of scoring first are +800. Again, side bet so no more than a unit on this.

See Josie's +690 three-leg parlay for tonight!

Josie's Take: Playing for their third-straight win at T-Mobile Arena, the Stars can end this series and have the entire hockey world on their side. Why? Well, the LTIR cheating is getting toxic.

After struggling to open the series, Jake Oettinger is determined to keep his team's playoff run alive. When it comes down to the wire, the 25-year-old holds it together, not coughing up a third-period goal in four of the five games.

When coming off a win and recording 25 saves or more this season, Oettinger is 15-4 SU in the games that follow.

Michel's Pick: OVER 1.5 P1 (-120)
Josie's Pick: Dallas ML (-115)
