Premier League Title Odds 2023-24: City Will Make History

It all comes down to the final day of the Premier League season. Will Manchester City win their fourth title in a row and make history? (Spoiler I think so). Or will Arsenal win their first title in 20-plus years?

It's going to be a dramatic day in the Prem. Let's break down title odds for the final day of the 23-24 EPL season.

Premier League Title Odds: Arsenal

With a two-point deficit, Arsenal needs to win and for City to lose or a low-scoring draw. Their opponent on the final day of the season is Everton. A side that might be near the bottom of the table, but they've been on a hell of a run recently with a 5-1-1 record (71% points percentage).

Oddsmakers think Arsenal will get all three points at the Emirates. And I get it, Arsenal have only dropped points once at home since the New Year. Plus they've got all that motivation to get three points and maybe, just maybe, get a Premier League title in the process.

And with all due respect to Everton, what else is there to play for? They made sure to avoid relegation and it's not like three points will push them further up the table. They will end the season 15th or 16th. I expect an emotional letdown for Everton that Arsenal can and will exploit.

Not enough to cover the spread though. I'd take Everton at +2.5 here. The last time these two met, Arsenal won 1-0 and that's when the Toffees were in horrible form going 0-1-4 to begin the season. Since April 21, Everton has only allowed a single goal against. Losing by less than three seems likely.

Premier League Title Odds: Manchester City

All City has to do is win and they've got their fourth title in as many years. Their opponent on the final day of the season is West Ham.

Sportsbooks think City will decimate poor West Ham. And It's hard to disagree. Look at each of these two sides last 10 games and it becomes very clear that one team is much better than the other one. Take a guess at which one that is.

City should easily take all three points against a West Ham side that's limping to the finish line of the season and the end of the David Moyes era.

That means City wins the title and oddsmakers are right to give them a whopping -1600 odds heading into the final matchday. And claim their place in history as the first team to win four titles in a row.

At least until all of those FFP charges are sorted out.

Very few teams over the previous 10 years have won the Premier League title with odds below +300 right before the season began. Only Chelsea in 2016-17 and Leicester in 2015-16 did so.

No, that’s not a typo. Leicester City was a long shot to win the Premier League in 2015-16. It seemed impossible that the Foxes, who were in a relegation scrap the previous season, could win a title the next year.

Sir Alex Ferguson had a mission to knock Liverpool off its perch as the winningest club in English football. And he succeeded in dominating the game with Manchester United and pushing them to 29 titles. Neighbors City has a long way to go in matching Sir Alex's return, but they're making a dent.

Blackburn and Leicester are the only sides to win the Premier League and be relegated.

What Is A Premier League Futures Bet?

A futures bet is made in advance of an event. In this case, you’re looking at the odds to win the Premier League. It can be said that all bets are made on future events. Except, in this case, you can bet weeks or even months beforehand.

If you see EPL odds you like, jump on them quickly. The lines will shift as more games are played and injuries occur. To get more value on a winning bet, try to get a club at plus money (+). This isn’t to say you shouldn’t take a team at minus money (-), but you won’t get as big a payout as you would with a winning underdog.
