Dustin Johnson is the +700 favorite to win the hardware at Sportsbook, with Rory McIlroy (+1000), Jordan Spieth (+1200), Rickie Fowler (+1600), Sergio Garcia (+1800), Hideki Matsuyama (+2000), Jon Rahm (+2000), Justin Thomas (+2200), Jason Day (+2200) and Justin Rose (+2500) right behind him.

Perennially the strongest roster on the PGA Tour, the PLAYERS Championship features 24 of the top 25 in the world rankings and 55 of the top 60. The tournament features the strongest purse of the year, so seeing the world’s best flock to the Sunshine State is not much of a surprise.

While Johnson is undeniably the hottest golfer in the world right now after winning three tournaments in a row prior to the Wells Fargo Championship, he’s far from a lock to win the event this time around. Before last year’s share of 28th, his previous seven starts at TPC Sawgrass saw him without a top-30 finish. He had also broken 70 just once in an Sportsbook round, which came in 2004.
