Last year’s individual champion, Talor Gooch, goes off at +1800 and looks to add to his LIV Golf resume that included three victories in 2023. Brooks Koepka was also a multiple-time winner on LIV Golf in 2023 and begins his 2024 at +2000. The five-time major champion struggled after winning the PGA Championship, but he should be ready to go as the Masters quickly approaches in April.

Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, Abraham Ancer and Adrian Meronk round out the betting favorites for the 2024 LIV Golf Mayakoba event.

2024 LIV Golf Mayakoba Betting Picks

Louis Oosthuizen To Win (+3000)

The South African returned to his mother land and claimed a pair of trophies on the DP World Tour. Winning the Alfred Dunhill Championship and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, Oosthuizen returned to the winner’s circle and could be a sign of things to come on LIV Golf in 2024.

This marked yet another quality outing for the former Open champion as he notched a T-6 at LIV Golf DC, solo fourth at LIV Golf London and a top-25 effort at The Open. Over the last 12 months, Oosthuizen ranks first in this field in strokes gained putting. Despite not playing well at this tournament a year ago, Oosthuizen arrives as a much different player and should begin his year with a bang.

Carlos Ortiz To Win (+3000)

If there is a horse for the course it is Ortiz as the Mexican has thrived in his home country.

Ortiz finished T-7 in last year’s LIV Golf Mayakoba with rounds of 67-70-71. This performance followed up his performances at El Camaleon Golf Course on the PGA Tour with four top-10 finishes as well as runner-up results in 2019 and 2021.

While he has not played since LIV Golf Miami, Ortiz was last seen as trending towards a big result. He had gained strokes on the field in five straight events including a massive effort at Trump National Doral.

Henrik Stenson To Win (+5500)

The Swede is quietly trending towards another win on LIV Golf and El Camaleon could provide the perfect setting. Over the last 12 months, the major champion ranks fourth in strokes gained tee-to-green, second in strokes gained approach and second in strokes gained around the green.

Stenson also checks in first in terms of driving accuracy which will be vital given the tight corridors around this golf course. Stenson arrives off a T-5 finish at LIV Golf Chicago and a solo second at the Saudi Open on the Asian Tour.
