Tyron Woodley shocked many in the MMA community when he knocked out Robbie Lawler in the first round to claim the UFC welterweight title. He is rewarded with a bout against one of the most uniquely skilled fighters in the world today – Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.
Despite entering the bout coming off a dominant victory, and as the champion, Woodley opened as the +160 underdog against Wonderboy – who hit the boards at -200.
Wonderboy has been perplexing his opponents thanks to his karate-based striking attack. He turns his hips completely perpendicular to his opponents and everything is built around his incredibly dangerous kicks.
