UFC odds action returns this weekend with a full UFC Fight Night card out of Brazil. Headlining the event will be a Heavyweight bout between former UFC Heavyweight champion Frank Mir and former EliteXC Heavyweight champion Antonio Silva.
Both fighters have a losing record over the last couple of years and will need an impressive win to remain in the UFC Heavyweight picture. Mir is currently the +245 underdog to win while action on Silva to win comes with a -290 UFC Fight Night odds price at Sportsbook.
Prop options at Sportsbook offer a +480 MMA odds option on Mir winning via submission as well as a -115 even money plus juice on the Over/Under 1.5 rounds. For those of you with the big bankrolls the best bet at Sportsbook on this one is the -800 on the fight not going to a decision.
In the UFC Fight Night 61 co-main event Edson Barbosa is handicapped as the -145 favorite to beat Michael Johnson (+115). These two should put on a good fight but we give the edge to Barbosa and his striking.
We like the -125 UFC odds option on this fight going Over 2.5 rounds. Johnson’s toughness should be enough to stretch this fight to a decision, which Barbosa will most likely win.
Jessica Andrade will look to stretch her UFC win streak to four straight with a win over Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 61. She is currently only a -245 favorite at Sportsbook and should be too much for her opponent to handle.
Reneau was not all that impressive in her UFC debut against Alexis Duresne back in January, so for that reason we like the Andrade win via a unanimous decision option.
