The first four games are all set and we'll dig into those with Indiana visiting Notre Dame, SMU traveling to Penn State, Texas hosting Clemson and Tennessee clashing with Ohio State in Columbus. Are the Los Angeles Lakers in Trouble? | Wednesday's NBA Show - The Huddle
It's Wednesday on The Huddle and that means it's an all-NBA episode as Ninja, ex-Milwaukee Buck John Henson and Chris Walder take a look at some of the biggest stories around the league and how it impacts your NBA bets. LeBron James is mired in an ugly shooting slump as he's 0-19 from beyond the arc in his last four games and is it a sign that Father Time is catching up to the King? The Lakers have struggled as a result and sit ninth in a high-competitive Western Conference. Are they cooked? Elsewhere, we already know the Washington Wizards are completely cooked and we're only 19 games into their season. But as they struggle with a 15-game losing streak, fading them is proving to be a great way to pad your bankroll. The guys discuss whether the streak will come to an end any time soon or whether they might just break the record. The guys talked about the Milwaukee Bucks a few weeks ago during their struggles and now it seems they've turned their season around. Giannis as put this team on his back and played some of the best basketball of his career. He's still got some solid value in NBA MVP betting markets, but you can bet against Nikola Jokic at this point?  All this and the best NBA bets of the night on today's episode of The Huddle!

About the Show

Odds Shark presents The Huddle, a weekly podcast hosted by Andrew Avery (@chalk_ninja) and Tony Farmer (@Tonysmarkettips). Every Friday, Andrew and Tony break down the biggest stories in the sports world and discuss their favourite bets for the weekend.

About the Hosts

Andrew Avery

I’ve been referred to as “Ninja” for the most part in my, oh, 13-year-or-so career as a writer, video producer, video host, capper, analyst and content creator. There isn’t an overly-entertaining explanation for why that nickname has stuck, but it has.

Fun fact: my first ever bet was a bad beat. It was Browns at Saints in 1999. Tim Couch’s rookie season. I had Saints moneyline. Couch throws a bomb some 60 yards in the air at the end of the game and somehow Kevin Johnson is able to get his mitts on it for six. Browns win. From that moment on, I consider myself to be somewhat of an aficionado of heart-breaking betting losses. “But my capping was on point!” he says, hiding the tears.

Apart from being a die-hard fan of Tottenham Hotspur, the San Francisco 49ers and Toronto Blue Jays, you can find me on the golf course, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen for the fam, or watching some obscure Japanese or Euro film that nobody gives a s*** about.
