Let's jump into NBA team defensive report, with an eye on uncovering our best betting strategy, by analyzing how every NBA team matches up against each position on any given night.

Target: Atlanta, Detroit, Indiana

As you might imagine, opposing point guards dominate against the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks can't stop a nosebleed this season, allowing opposing one's to average 27.5 points a night on nearly 40% shooting from deep. Point guards are also averaging over 10 assists a night against the defensively challenged Hawks. Tray Young is a below-average defender, and so are his backups, so opponents eat against Atlanta.

It's also no surprise to see the Pistons, and Pacers near the top of points and field goal percentage surrendered to opposing point guards. All three teams sit in the bottom half of defensive rating, and surrender a high rate of three-pointers to opposing point guards.
