What Are GIFT Bets?
GIFT stands for Goal In The First Ten Minutes. Similarly, NGIFT would be no goal in the first ten minutes.
As you may have guessed, these bets ask you to predict if a goal will (or won't) be scored in the first ten minutes of a particular game. It doesn't matter who scores so long as a goal goes in. This is effectively a total bet at OVER/UNDER 0.5 goals in the first 10 mins of any contest.
Here's what this market might look like at your sportsbook:
Will there be a goal in the first 10 minutes?
- Yes -125
- No +125
A winning $100 bet on a goal in the first 10 minutes would return $180 -- your initial $100 plus $80 in profit per our odds calculator. A winning bet for no goal to be scored in the first 10 minutes would return $225 -- that initial $100 plus $125 of profit.
