Only Larry Bird and Craig Hodges have ever won three-straight 3-Point Contests during the NBA's All-Star Weekend, with Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard the betting favorite at +340 to join that list and complete a three-peat of his own on Saturday, February 15 in San Francisco, California.
He'll be joined by seven of the Association's elite sharpshooters from behind the arc as he seeks to defend his crown. Here's a look at how each of the eight competitors rank on the odds leaderboard and if anyone can keep Lillard from making history.

2025 NBA 3-Point Contest Betting Favorite: Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks (+340)
There's no arguing Lillard having the shortest odds after prevailing in the last two events, and he has far and away the most experience of the field with Saturday marking the fifth time he's participated. He'll join Hodges (8), Dale Ellis (7), Stephen Curry (7), Dirk Nowitzki (6), Ray Allen (5), Reggie Miller (5), Glen Rice (5), and Peja Stojakovic (5) as the only players to have competed five or more times.
Becoming the third player to win three in a row and the first since 1992 has huge significance which likely won't be lost on Lillard. He finished with exactly 26 points in each round of last year's competition, although a tiebreaker was required for Lillard to advance to the Finals as Trae Young, Tyrese Haliburton, and Karl-Anthony Towns also had 26 points in the opening round, as well.
2025 NBA 3-Point Contest Contender: Buddy Hield, Golden State Warriors (+500)
Buddy Hield is all too familiar with the rims as a member of the Golden State Warriors, and he'll have the home crowd in his corner which can't hurt his chances here. He's also the only other player to have actually won this event in the past, which Hield did in 2020 as a member of the Sacramento Kings.
His last appearance in 2023 saw him get all of the way to the finals before eventually falling to Lillard, although Hield only came up short by a single shot. Keep in mind, however, that while he does have the home-court advantage, Hield is only converting 31.9 percent of his 6.6 3-point attempts per game at the Chase Center.
