Oleksandr Usyk defends his unified heavyweight crown against up-and-comer Daniel Dubois on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
The 12-round main event should be a doozy. Unsurprisingly, the odds are quite skewed in Usyk's favor, as the Ukrainian is a whopping -1250 favorite over Dubois (+700).

If you’re unfamiliar with betting on boxing, we have you covered with an in-depth How to Bet Boxing guide.
How To Bet Usyk
With a straight-up bet off the table, we need to be more creative with our bets on Usyk. Normally I'd suggest betting on the Ukrainian by decision since four of his last six fights have gone the distance. But Dubois brings some heat, and that will change the champ's strategy.
Dubois knows his best chance to win is by stoppage. When (if?) he tags Usyk, he'll rush in. Because of that threat, Usyk will be forced to step up and bang. That's not a bad thing, as it opens our wallets to a bet on Usyk by KO (-200).
How To Bet Dubois
If you're a believer in miracles, bet Dubois straight up. The Englishman embodies his "Dynamite" nickname with an explosive mentality inside the ring. There's a chance he scores an upset.
In the end, I have concerns about how Dubois' technique will hold up in the later rounds. He has also nursed serious injuries, including an ACL tear just one year ago.
Oleksander Usyk vs Daniel Dubois Pick
Start with a bet on Usyk by KO/TKO at -200. After that, we can fish for a little more value. I'll be watching for Usyk to win in Rounds 5-8 (+225).
