Rays vs Blue Jays Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Rays ML

The Rays may not be in the playoff race, but they're playing sneakily decent baseball lately. Tampa hasn't lost a series since July 7th and they're also 5-4 against the Jays so far this season (+1.1 units). The Rays actually haven't had a losing record against the Blue Jays in a season series since 2017.

But the crux of this bet is a fade of Chris Bassitt. The Toronto starter has had a bit of a rollercoaster season with brilliant stretches followed by struggles. Right now, he's on the tough part of that coaster, allowing 12 runs in his last three starts, raising his season ERA by .5 runs. The Jays have won just two of Bassitt's last eight outings.

Tampa hitters also succeed against Bassitt, with a collective.279 average and .937 OPS against him in 68 career at-bats.

Rays vs Blue Jays Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Bassitt UNDER 6.5 Ks

I'm taking an alt-line here because I'm not 100% confident I can squeeze Bassitt in under his standard UNDER 5.5 K line. But at 6.5, it's a win.

Bassitt has gone UNDER 6.5 Ks in six of his last seven starts and both his two starts against the Rays this season. He's also only surpassed this 6.5 K mark in five of his 20 starts this entire season.

The Rays actually strike out a lot this year, with the sixth-highest strikeout rate in MLB. But, they've been pretty good at keeping the Ks down since the All-Star break. Just two starting pitchers since the break (six games) have gone over five strikeouts against Tampa.

Rays vs Blue Jays Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Arozarena OVER 0.5 Hits

I've been fading Arozarena a bunch this season, as he's hitting just .213 on the year with lengthy spells of struggle. But lately, he's got nine hits in his last seven games and isn't striking out quite as much. He's also had Bassitt's number historically, with six hits in 14 career at-bats against the Blue Jays starter, good for a .429 average.

Arozarena has hits in each of his two contests against Bassitt so far this season, with three knocks in total (plus a run and RBI). You can bet on Randy to get an RBI tonight at +150.
