West Ham vs Chelsea

Chelsea VS West Ham
West Ham Double Chance
-130

Hammers pointless from two games at home so far. Chelsea the best away team in the league so far. Something gonna give on Saturday?

I like the Hammers in a double chance play here given that zero points from three home fixtures would be near-disastrous. Lopetegui NEEDS something from this.

Chelsea has been good but not great to start. The Wolves thrashing was flattering as it looks pretty clear that Wolves is a bottom club.

Hammers should be desperate here at home to grind out some sort of result.

OVER 2.5 Goals
-189

Taking OVER 2.5 goals in Villa games was my favorite bet to make last season. And it's quickly becoming my favorite this year. Villa is 4-1 (80%) for this particular bet this season.

Wolves might only be 3-3 (50%) vs an OVER 2.5 goals bet, but they've hit it in their last two games. Making me feel very confident OVER 2.5 goals will hit again.

Newcastle VS Fulham
Fulham Double Chance
-175

Newcastle has done a fantastic job dealing with injuries this season, specifically at the back with Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles out.

They enter Craven Cottage third in the Premier with 10 points from four matches. But they’ve played some bad teams: 1-0 against Southampton at home, 1-1 Bournemouth away, 2-1 over Spurs at home and 2-1 away to Wolves.

Newcastle is sitting on 10 points but have accumulated just 3.92 expected points. Look for a bit of regression from the Magpies.

I like the double chance here and I’ll even probably play a half-unit or so on the Fulham money line at +175 as well.

Both Teams To Score (Yes)
-144

I'm taking both teams to score (yes) because offensively both sides are good enough to score at least once with a goal per game on average.

Defensively both are terrible enough for us to see a few goals. The Foxes have allowed the third most goals against (7) and hold the sixth-highest xGA (6.8). Everton has allowed the most goals against (13) and has the second-highest xGA (8.3).

Both teams will score at least once.

Brentford Double Chance
+145

As a Tottenham fan, it’s not been a great start to the season and there’s no reason to think Tottenham puts in stellar work against a Thomas Frank-managed side that will be well organized and in full belief that they can win.

Spurs won this fixture last season by a score of 3-2, but Brentford had cashed a double chance bet in four-straight meetings with the North London outfit.

Given what we saw against Coventry in the Carabao Cup midweek, there is zero evidence that this Tottenham side is worth near -200 odds in three-way moneyline markets, though as a fan, I hope I’m wrong.

UNDER 3.5 Goals
-118

Both sides have been excellent at hitting UNDER 3.5 goals with a 4-1 (80%) record in all competitions this year. Alisson won't be in the net for Liverpool but Caoimhin Kelleher was great when called upon last with with a 71.1% save percentage.

Bournemouth and Liverpool have created a solid defensive identity this year and I fully expect that identity will be on display this weekend.

Southampton OVER 1.5 Goals
Even

I’ve been waiting for the “Southampton Breakout Game” for a couple weeks now and as a believer in expected goals (xG), I’m back on board this week.

The Saints have scored just one goal despite accumulating 5.17 xG. That is comfortably the largest disparity between expected goals and actual goals in the Premier League.

Now they welcome Ipswich to town, who has conceded seven, but allowed 9.95 expected goals against (xGA).

Look for the Saints to bag a couple here this weekend.

Manchester United Double Chance
-230

I guarantee Manchester United will get something from this game. Crystal Palace haven't looked the same since they sold Olise to Bayern Munich with two losses and two draws.

Sure Men United have two wins on the bounce but they beat up poor Southampton and League One side Burnley. But I'm not confident enough in the Red Devils to pick up all three points. That's why I'm going with a United Double Chance at -230.

UNDER 2.5 Goals
-113

Forest has just been too good defensively this year. Shutting out Liverpool was a massive achievement that showed how well-drilled they are defensively. I get that Brighton has seen OVER 2.5 goals 67% this year, but I don't care. Forest is going to park the bus and frustrate the hell out of the Seagulls. I have no doubt this game ends with fewer than 2.5 goals.

Manchester City Moneyline
-125

Full credit to Arsenal: they’ve been getting wins and draws despite looking incredibly underwhelming so far this season.

Now, they go into Manchester City in what could be the most important fixture of the season.

We know the defending is incredible and David Raya continues to impress, but there is no attacking spark without captain Martin Odegaard. Sure, City will be without Kevin De Bruyne, but there is just more class in the City depths with the likes of Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and others available to create.

City at home at this price is just too good to pass up.
