Several fights have fallen off the UFC 292 main card, which only heightens the stakes of this bantamweight clash between Pedro Munhoz and Marlon "Chito" Vera.

Vera vs Munhoz Betting Preview: How To Bet This Fight
These two fellas own similar records and fight a similar style. Here's how to bet each side of this 135-pound clash.
How To Bet Vera
I'll give Vera a mulligan after his recent loss to Cory Sandhagen. Chito played things too cautiously and the American outworked him. Fresh start.
But this fight, in my opinion, is pretty easy to handicap. Vera has the best chin in the UFC. Munhoz is basically just as unkillable, with all seven of his UFC losses by decision. Obviously, this makes me think this fight heads to a decision.
However, Vera has anvil-like power, so a KO isn't off the table. If I'm betting Chito in this fight, I'll take him straight up at -188. That's safest in my opinion. While a knockout is could happen, my second best bet would be Chito by decision, but tread lightly.
How To Bet Munhoz
Munhoz is a bulldog in the cage, short, stout and full of muscle. He hits hard — perhaps even harder than Vera — but his short stature and basic striking limit his upside.
As heavy as the Brazilian swings with his punches, no one has ever finished Vera. Munhoz also hasn't scored a finish since he beat Cody Garbrandt in 2019. Excluding a no-contest vs O'Malley, Munhoz's last six fights have all gone the distance.
Munhoz's underdog status makes him an easy straight-up play, but I genuinely believe it's impossible to stop Vera. With that in mind, betting Munhoz by decision is the most lucrative move.
Vera vs Munhoz Betting Pick
I smell a split decision. Neither Munhoz or Vera are terribly active on offense — both guys win fights by soaking damage and chugging through pain.
In the end, I'll take Vera to win (-185). But if that's not enough value, ride Chito by decision (+100) and bet on the fight to go the distance (TBD).
