UFC 305 Best Bet: Adesanya to win (-139)

Du Plessis showed us how tricky he can be in his razor-thin decision win over Sean Strickland at UFC 297. I saw the South African fight intelligently, favoring precision over brutish strength. He'll stand a good chance vs Izzy with that strategy.

In the end, Adesanya remains the best bet at -139. He must use feints (without getting too patient) to open up holes in DDP's defense. He'll be the only guy in that main event with the agility and precision to land a highlight-reel KO. I also like the UNDER 3.5 rounds in this fight.

UFC 305: My Fight of the Night — Kara-France vs Erceg

These two fellas aren't all that different. They both hail from Oceania, with KKF from New Zealand and Erceg from Australia, and they both have a penchant for violence.

Erceg is fast, powerful, and well-rounded, coming a round away from de-throning flyweight champ Alexandre Pantoja. Kara-France unsuccessfully challenged for the title in 2022 and hasn't fought since a controversial loss to Amir Albazi in June 2023.

Flyweight UNDERs are one of my favorite trends to bet, and I'm counting on these two coming out strong, as both guys have plenty to fight for.
