Ever since breaking onto the global mixed martial arts stage on The Ultimate Fighter Season 3, Michael Bisping has been one of the most well-known figures in the UFC. “The Count” has stepped inside the Octagon 27 times in his long career, tied for the most in UFC history with Frank Mir and Tito Ortiz.
After starting his career as a hated heel, Bisping has garnered respect from MMA fans for his longevity and tough style of fighting. The Brit is known for his ability to wear down his opponent over time with his boxing skills and his propensity for becoming more active as the fight goes on. This has led to Bisping winning 10 of his fights via decision and three via stoppage in the third round or later.
After more than a decade within the company, Bisping made UFC fight news and finally climbed the mountaintop when he knocked out Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 and won the middleweight title. He has since defended the gold against Dan Henderson, avenging an infamous KO loss to “Hendo.”
