Shavkat vs Belal Odds & Picks: Bully B Disrespect Continues

The Belal vs Muhammad vs Shavkat Rakhmonov odds are out. And yet again, "Bully B" gets some severe disrespect.

Rakhmonov is a -200 favorite over the welterweight champion Muhammad, who returns as a +170 underdog. These two will fight in 2025, and I already know where my money will be for this showdown.

How To Bet Muhammad

I am racing to my sportsbook after Shavkat's decision win over Ian Garry and placing a large ML bet on Belal. Garry showed everyone Shavkat isn't a terrifying force, and the Irishman nearly submitted Rakhmonov in Round 5. Imagine what Muhammad, a much more polished wrestler, can do on the mat against Shavkat.

Belal's striking isn't world-renowned, but he's very tough, possesses excellent wrestling skills, and thrives on the ground, either battling for favorable positions or defending submissions. After UFC 310, I'd argue Belal vs Shavkat could be a more even striking match than what we might've expected before Muhammad's injury.

I understand this comes across as an overreaction, but I'm trusting my gut. You should bet Muhammad outright at this price. Anything beyond that is greedy.

How To Bet Rakhmonov

Rakhmonov's streak of 18-straight finishes died with his decision win over Garry, and some fans may now forget the Uzbekistani's prowess within this 170-pound division. Sure, Shavkat didn't steamroll Garry, but he won three rounds and put a beating on Garry in limited striking exchanges.

Since Shavkat is chalked for his fight vs Belal, we need to get a little more creative. For me, a best bet on Shavkat will be for him to win inside the distance. Belal is super durable, but a five-round fight favors the champ.

If you're on Shavkat, you're hoping for a dirty striking exchange or simply a slip-up on the ground by Belal, leaving a submission open for the favorite.

Rakhmonov vs Muhammad Picks

For now, I'll happily bet the champ at +170. He's been counted out plenty in his MMA career, including last time out vs Leon Edwards, and I'd like to stay ahead of the curve.

Pick: Muhammad to win (+170)
