Making the cut at the Open Championship is no joke. The rigors of Royal Portrush Golf Club are not for the faint of heart, and even the best players on the PGA Tour will struggle to see Saturday in Northern Ireland this week.
Sportsbook has released odds on individual players to make or miss the cut at the 2019 Open, with a litany of golfers in the event available to wager on.
Rory McIlroy has the best odds to make the cut at -1200, while Ashton Turner, Austin Connelly and Isidro Benitez are the favorites to fail to play into the weekend, all at -450. McIlroy has only missed the cut once in his Open career – a poor 12-over-par performance in 2013. McIlroy shot a course-record 61 at Royal Portrush in 2005 as a 16-year-old and is in prime form to go low once again in his home country.
