The Hawks dropped their last game, falling 121-114 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander went off for 35 points to lead Oklahoma City to the win, while Dejounte Murray (24 points) and Trae Young (23 points, 10 assists) were the top performers for Atlanta.

After finishing as one of the elite offenses in the NBA last season, the Hawks haven’t found a way to reproduce that magic so far this year. Speaking of depth – or lack thereof – the Knicks are in the same boat as the Hawks. Julius Randle (21.1 PPG), Brunson (21 PPG) and RJ Barrett (18.4 PPG) have been a solid trio for New York but the scoring falls off drastically from there as Immanuel Quickley (10 PPG) is the only other player to average 10-plus. Unsurprisingly, New York’s offense ranks 14th in the league right behind Atlanta.
