Bulls Have Had the Bucks' Number in Recent Clashes
The Milwaukee Bucks have run both extremely hot and extremely cold in 2016-17. After recently winning five of six games, the Bucks proceeded to lose three in a row. Jason Kidd’s crew will try to snap the skid when they return home to face the Central Division rival Chicago Bulls in the opener of a home-and-home set on Thursday. Oddsmakers initially tabbed the Bulls as 1-point underdogs with an OVER/UNDER of 209.5.
The biggest reason for the Bucks’ issues has been a lapse on the defensive end, as Milwaukee allowed Toronto to score 122 points on 50.6 percent shooting in their last outing. The OVER has been a hot bet in their games lately, evidenced by each of their last four going above the closing total.
Don’t fault Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Bucks’ losses, though. The “Greek Freak” scored 30 points on 13-for-23 shooting to go with eight rebounds, five assists and no turnovers in Monday’s setback. The small forward averaged 23.3 points on 56.1 percent shooting in four games against Chicago last season, including a career-high 34 points in a 102-98 home loss on April 3.
The Bulls took care of the Bucks with ease in 2015-16, claiming three of the four meetings between the clubs.
