NBA daily fantasy incapsulates the worlds of fantasy sports and sports betting into one fun and riveting contest that can lead to massive gains for those who participate.
The DFS lineup will incorporate a standard starting lineup of a PG, SG, SF, PF, and C, along with an additional G, F, and UTIL slot at a salary of $50,000 which cannot be exceeded. Points are allocated based on the statistical production from each individual player that night.
Here's a look at our lineup for the NBA's slate of games on Wednesday, February 14, 2024:
NBA DFS Lineup For February 14, 2024
PG: Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
$12,100
SG: Amen Thompson, Houston Rockets
$6,500
SF: Yuta Watanabe, Memphis Grizzlies
$3,400
PF: Pascal Siakam, Indiana Pacers
$7,900
C Lamar Stevens, Memphis Grizzlies
$3,300
G: Keyonte George, Utah Jazz
$4,200
F: Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors
$8,700
UTIL: Jacob Gilyard, Memphis Grizzlies
$3,900
PG: Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks (Vs. Spurs)
No player on Feb. 14 has a higher fantasy projection than Doncic does at 65.4 points when the San Antonio Spurs come to town. Doncic just recorded a triple-double of 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists on Monday, and registered 79 fantasy points the last time the Dallas Mavericks battled San Antonio on Dec. 23.
SG: Amen Thompson, Houston Rockets (At Grizzlies)
The absence of Fred VanVleet in the Houston Rockets' starting lineup has provided more of an opportunity to rookie Amen Thompson, who has played at least 32 minutes in each of his last four outings while averaging 35.3 fantasy points during that stretch.
SF: Yuta Watanabe, Memphis Grizzlies (Vs. Rockets)
Watanabe finished with 11 points, two rebounds, an assist, and two steals in his debut with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. His role should only continue to grow as Memphis looks for production amongst its depleted roster.
PF: Pascal Siakam, Indiana Pacers (At Raptors)
Siakam will have some added incentive to put up numbers against his former team at Scotiabank Arena. He hasn't topped 34 fantasy points in his last three games, but that number should be exceeded against a Toronto Raptors squad that will struggle to contain him.
C: Lamar Stevens, Memphis Grizzlies (Vs. Rockets)
Like Watanabe, Stevens finds himself in position to play substantial minutes on the Grizzlies after being acquired from the Boston Celtics. Even as a reserve in his debut for Memphis on Monday, Stevens notched 21.75 fantasy points across 26 minutes, which should he replicate against Houston, would be tremendous value.
G: Keyonte George, Utah Jazz (Vs. Lakers)
George will remain the starting point guard of the Utah Jazz moving forward, despite posting five points and four assists in a horrid debut in that role. Head coach Will Hardy has faith in his rookie to move past that, as should you in George's fantasy ceiling.
F: Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors (Vs. Pacers)
It's redemption time for Barnes on Wednesday, as his stock took a hit on social media following a recent defeat as he exited the court prior to the final buzzer sounding. Fantasy owners don't care about those types of matters though. All they should care about is Barnes averaging 46.75 fantasy points over his last three appearances.
UTIL: Jacob Gilyard, Memphis Grizzlies (Vs. Rockets)
See Watanabe and Stevens. Memphis is the land of opportunity these days, and names you may never have heard of are getting a chance to contribute. The difference between Gilyard and the aforementioned names is that he recently had a chance to start on Saturday, which bodes well for his immediate future.
