Indiana Pacers Vs. Toronto Raptors
The Game: Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Indiana Pacers | -4 (-110) | -178 | O 244.5 (-112) |
Toronto Raptors | +4 (-110) | +150 | U 244.5 (-108) |
Pick: Indiana Pacers -4
It will be an emotional night at Scotiabank Arena as Pascal Siakam plays his first game in Toronto since being traded to the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 17.
The feel-good energy for the Raptors side they honor a player who accomplished a great deal with the franchise over eight seasons, including helping win a championship in 2019, will likely end there.
Indiana has covered four of the last six times against a Toronto squad that's just 4-14 SU after winning three of four to kick off the new year. The Raptors beat the Pacers by one on Nov. 22, sure, but the roster has undergone a complete transformation and is in a downward spiral trying to conjure up a new identity.
Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Golden State Warriors
The Game: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Clippers | +3 (-108) | +130 | O 234.5 (-108) |
Golden State Warriors | -3 (-112) | -154 | U 234.5 (-112) |
Pick: Golden State Warriors ML
Oddsmakers are evidently weary of the Los Angeles Clippers following a pair of double-digit losses to the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves in two of their last three games.
This is the worst stretch in quite some time for the Clippers, but one that likely won't last. Los Angeles is already 2-1 this season against the Golden State Warriors after taking the last two meetings.
The key here, outside of the Warriors being on a hot streak having won five in a row and seven of their last eight, is that the Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard as he sits with a left abductor strain. Los Angeles will bounce back, but not while missing its best player when playing against Golden State.
Atlanta Hawks Vs. Charlotte Hornets
The Game: Atlanta Hawks vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Atlanta Hawks | -7 (-106) | -255 | O 238 (-110) |
Charlotte Hornets | +7 (-114) | +210 | U 238 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 238 Total Points
We're riding the Atlanta Hawks in the OVER/UNDER market until the wheels fall off, having won three consecutive picks in this department.
The Hawks possess the league's best offense in the month of February at 123.3 points per 100 possessions, but the third-worst defense allowing the exact same amount as they score. This hasn't equated a great deal of success in the win-loss column (4-3 SU), but for total bets, with it having gone OVER in eight of Atlanta's last 11 outings, it's easy money.
The Charlotte Hornets' offense also got a shot in the arm with the recent acquisitions of Grant Williams, Seth Curry, Davis Bertans, and Tre Mann. The total on Oct. 25 reached 226 points, and that number should be surpassed quite easily in the rematch on Wednesday.
