Good Teams Aren’t Always Profitable: Warriors and Sixers Included
It’s a prime-time matchup on ABC tonight when the Golden State Warriors visit the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center. These teams met just a month ago in Oakland when the Sixers defeated the Warriors 113-104 on January 31. Tonight’s game pits the No. 1 scoring offense in the NBA against the No. 5 scoring offense in the NBA, so we should expect plenty of scoring.
Golden State is coming off back-to-back losses in Florida and has dropped three straight. Despite that, they are a five-point betting favorite tonight with the total at 236.5 and climbing.
Standout Stats
My Bet for Warriors vs Sixers
Sixers +5
Golden State will be without Klay Thompson tonight which will remove another three-point threat from their lineup with Iguodala already sidelined. With Joel Embiid out of the lineup for Philadelphia, we might see a little more inside play from the Warriors, although don't could on it.
In fact, it's been very hard to count on the Warriors for anything lately, and that's a major factor in why I like the Sixers to cover tonight. Philly may not win straight up, but I don't think Golden State runs away with this game.
