Warriors-Rockets Series Has Been a Dream for UNDER Bettors
In Game 4 of the Western Conference final, the Houston Rockets became the first team to beat the Golden State Warriors in Oakland since Kevin Durant joined the team, while re-establishing home-court advantage in the process. With the series knotted at two games apiece, James Harden and company are aiming to keep the momentum rolling in Game 5 at Toyota Center. After yet another game went below the total, expect sportsbooks to get tons of action on the UNDER in this one. The UNDER has now paid out in six of the Warriors’ last seven games.
Sportsbook opened the Rockets as slight 1-point home favorites with a total of 219.5.
After allowing 126 points on 52.2 percent shooting to the Dubs in a Game 3 blowout, Houston bounced back in a big way defensively by limiting the Warriors to only 92 points in Game 4. Chris Paul didn’t show any ill effects of a foot injury, as the superstar point guard produced his best game of the series in a 27-point effort on 10-of-20 shooting.
Holding a 10-point advantage in the fourth quarter, the Warriors let Game 4 slip away, as Golden State notched only 12 fourth-quarter points. The Dubs shot 39.3 percent from the field in the tilt, with all-star shooting guard Klay Thompson contributing only 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting. The absence of veteran swingman Andre Iguodala, who didn’t play in Game 4 due to a leg injury, was clearly evident across the board for the defending champs. As of this writing, Iguodala was listed as questionable for tonight.
After the Warriors claimed Game 1 on the road, Golden State continued to prove it could get the job done in Houston. The Warriors are 10-4 SU and ATS in their past 14 trips to Toyota Center.
