Pacers Coming Off Miracle Win Over Warriors

The Pacers shocked the basketball world on Thursday with a 121-117 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors. Chris Duarte led Indiana with 27 points, followed by Justin Holiday (16 points), who sunk the game-tying three-pointer with six seconds in regulation to send the game to the extra frame. Steph Curry led all players with 39 points but was held scoreless in overtime.

While Indiana has struggled this season even with a full roster, their win last time out was even more impressive considering they did it without their top three scorers as Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles), Caris LeVert (calf), and Domantas Sabonis (ankle) were all sidelined.

Brogdon and LeVert are questionable for Saturday’s contest while Sabonis is expected to miss a few games. TJ McConnell (health and safety protocols) and Myles Turner (foot) are also out.

Suns Look For Sixth Straight Win Saturday

The Suns rolled to their fifth straight win on Thursday, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 109-101. Devin Booker scored 28 to lead Phoenix while Chris Paul had 20 points and 11 assists for a double-double.

Phoenix has taken control of the top spot in the NBA with no signs of slowing down any time soon. Their five-game win streak is the longest active run in the league while the club has also won eight of its last nine contests. Booker is shooting the lights out, scoring 35.3 points per game over his last four outings – up over 10 points from his season average of 24.6.

Abdel Nader (conditioning) is questionable while Deandre Ayton (ankle) is out.

Pacers vs Suns Pick & Insights

Pacers: Keys to Cover

Oddsmakers were harsh on the Pacers with their Sportsbook line but that could be with the assumption that both Brogdon and LeVert remain out. If the Pacers get both players back, they certainly have a good shot at keeping the game at least somewhat close – after all, we did just see them take down a fully-loaded Warriors squad while short-handed.

Suns: Keys to Cover

The Suns have been ruthless this season with an average scoring margin of plus-7.9 – the highest mark in the NBA. Their margin of victory is up to 16.8 points over their last four outings, including a 112-94 win over the Pacers last Friday. With a top-five offense and defense, it makes sense for Phoenix to be the heavy favorite in any Pacers vs Suns prediction.
