Pacers vs Suns Betting Preview

The Phoenix Suns (22-24, 23-23 ATS) welcome the Indiana Pacers (23-24, 26-20-1) to Footprint Center on Saturday as the visitors look to end a six-game losing skid. Meanwhile, Phoenix hasn’t been much better, winning just two of its last 11 contests.

The Suns opened as the 6-point favorite at home, having won four of the last five meetings against the Pacers. Look to take the UNDER as well – it’s 9-4 in the last 13 games between the two teams.

Latest Betting Notes: Pacers

The Pacers suffered another big loss on Friday, falling 134-111 to the Denver Nuggets on the road. Aaron Gordon had 28 points to lead the Nuggets to victory while Bennedict Mathurin (19 points) and Chris Duarte (18 points) were the top scorers for the Pacers in the loss.

Indiana has been a pretty poor defensive team all season, ranking 22nd in the NBA in points against per game (116.5), but that number has jumped all the way up to 125.7 during their six-game losing streak.

Tyrese Haliburton (elbow, knee) remains out while Miles Turner is leading the team in points so far this month (19.2 points per game).

Latest Betting Notes: Suns

The Suns snapped their own three-game skid on Thursday as they beat the Brooklyn Nets 117-112. Mikal Bridges led the way with 28 points, Deandre Ayton had a monster double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while three others finished in double digits for Phoenix. Cameron Johnson also scored 19 points in 22 minutes in his first game since November, though he will sit out Saturday.

Phoenix continues to be decimated by injuries as Devin Booker (groin), Landry Shamet (foot) and Cameron Payne (foot) remain sidelined. There is some potential help on the horizon, though, as Chris Paul (hip) is listed as questionable for Saturday after missing the last six contests.

Pacers Player Prop: Turner OVER 18 Points (+104)

Turner has had a solid month thus far for the Pacers, leading the team with 19.2 points per game. Though he’s scored just 22 points combined over his last two outings, the center scored 30 and 29, respectively, in the two contests prior.

Turner has recorded at least 15 points in six of his last eight games, so he should have a pretty good shot at hitting OVER 18 points against a Suns team that has allowed nearly 124 points per game over their last four contests.

Suns Player Prop: Bridges OVER 22 Points (+225)

With so many players out for Phoenix, Bridges has stepped into the spotlight offensively and put up some strong performances over the last couple weeks. The small forward has scored at least 21 points in three straight games and has hit the mark in four of his last five outings.

If the Suns are going to beat the Pacers, Bridges will likely need to be one of their top offensive performers once again, so look for him to hit the OVER on 22 points in this matchup.
