Clips Run Up The Score Against Raptors

The Clippers picked up their second straight win on Tuesday as they beat the Toronto Raptors 124-113. Ivica Zubac (23 points, 16 rebounds), Paul George (23 points), Norman Powell (22 points) and Reggie Jackson (20 points) each scored 20-plus for Los Angeles while Pascal Siakam had 36 for Toronto in the loss.

The Clips have found their rhythm over the last couple of weeks, winning seven of nine games while allowing just 106.7 points per contest. Los Angeles’ defense has been a consistent strength all season long, ranking third in the NBA in points against per game (108.6). With a fully healthy roster, we’re finally seeing the Clips show off their full potential.

Tatum, Brown Take Down The Rockets

The Celtics kept their win streak rolling on Tuesday with a huge 126-102 win over the Houston Rockets. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum completely took over the game, scoring 39 and 28 points, respectively, while Jalen Green led the Rockets with 28 points.

The C’s top duo of Brown and Tatum shot a combined 26-for-51 from the field and sank 12 three-pointers. Tatum is continuing to put himself in the MVP conversation, averaging 30.2 points per game in December and 31.1 on the season – the fifth-best mark in the league. The Celtics star has scored 30-plus in six straight games with three 40-point outings during that span.

Clippers Player Prop: George OVER 25 Points (+104)

George has been consistently chugging along as Los Angeles’ top scorer this season at 23.7 points per game. The shooting guard has scored 25-plus in four of 10 games this month, but has been just shy of the mark at 22 or 23 points in three other outings. George is certainly capable of clearing the OVER on Thursday night.

Celtics Player Prop: Tatum OVER 33 Points (+114)

It’s a lofty goal for Tatum in this one but given how hot he’s been, he definitely has a good shot at hitting the OVER on 33 points. The C’s star has scored at least 33 in four of his last six outings and has been within striking distance in all of those games.

Clippers: Keys To Win

Los Angeles has been playing lockdown defense of late and that trend will need to continue against Tatum and Brown, who have led the Celtics to the top offense in the NBA (118.9 points per game). The Clippers will have to fight strength with strength and hope they can limit the damage from Boston’s top dogs.

Celtics: Keys To Win

When Tatum and Brown get hot, the Celtics are virtually unbeatable, and that’s basically what we’ve seen during their current win streak. If the two combine for 60-plus points again, Boston should cruise to its fourth straight victory.
