Five Memphis players hit at least three triples, led by a 6-for-8 performance from Kyle Anderson behind the arc. The veteran power forward has turned into one of the Grizzlies’ most reliable scorers lately, racking up at least 15 points in five of his last seven appearances.
Ja Morant tied a season high with 11 assists — the sixth time in eight games that he’s dished out at least eight — and Dillon Brooks added 20 points on 13 shots for the Grizz, who led 70-68 at halftime but allowed just 15 points in the third quarter.
Memphis still soared OVER the total for the sixth time in its last seven games, with five of those OVERs coming by 12 points or more.

For a team that is riding a six-game winning streak, the Lakers aren’t exactly playing dominant basketball at the moment. LA is 2-7 ATS in its last nine and has needed overtime to pull out each of its last three victories over the Thunder and Pistons.
On Wednesday, the Lakers didn’t hold their first lead against Oklahoma City until five minutes remained in regulation and needed a late three from LeBron James just to force the extra session before prevailing 114-113.
Davis has missed LA’s last two contests with right Achilles tendinosis, but the big man might return Friday after doing some light practice Thursday. Backup point guard Alex Caruso has also been sidelined for the last two games with a right hand strain and will likely be a game-time decision against the Grizzlies.
The Lakers have gone OVER the total in three straight after staying UNDER in 17 of their first 23, but don’t be fooled. Two of LA’s last three games would have stayed below the total if not for overtime, meaning seven of the purple and gold’s last eight have played to the UNDER in regulation time.
