Heat vs 76ers Odds & Analysis

Sportsbook Odds

The 76ers opened as a slight 1.5-point favorite at home but early support for the Heat quickly flipped the line to Miami -1.5 with the total set at 216.5 points. The UNDER is 6-4 in Miami’s last 10 games and 4-2-1 in Philadelphia’s last seven. Monday’s matchup represents the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season, with Miami taking two of the first three. With Miami’s roster potentially a bit banged up, the hosts could be a wise pick for your Heat vs 76ers prediction.

Herro Playing The Hero For Heat

Miami picked up a 120-108 win over the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder in their last outing on Friday. Tyler Herro led the way with 26 points in just 28 minutes on the floor while six others scored in double digits for a well-rounded Heat win.

Herro has been on a tear of late, scoring 25.9 points per game through nine appearances in March while dropping 20-plus in 11 of his last 12 outings – and 30-plus in three of those contests. The guard is averaging 21.1 points per game this season – up six from last year – and is considered one of the front-runners for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award.

The Heat could be without some key players on Monday as Jimmy Butler (ankle) and Caleb Martin (knee) are questionable while Gabe Vincent (toe) and Victor Oladipo (back) are out.

Sixers Coming Off Low-Scoring Loss To Raptors

Philadelphia fell 93-88 to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, blowing a late-game lead. The Sixers took a five-point advantage into the fourth quarter but the Raptors outscored them 24-14 in the final frame to snatch the win. Toronto’s Pascal Siakam posted 26 points and 10 boards for a double-double while Joel Embiid had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead Philadelphia.

The loss marked one of the lowest-scoring performances of the season for the 76ers, who have been held to less than 90 points on only five occasions – with the most recent instance prior to Sunday coming on March 5 against the Heat.

Embiid was also uncharacteristically quiet as he went 6-for-20 from the field, scoring under 30 points for the first time in five games and under 25 for just the second time in his last 30 outings dating to December 26.

Heat vs 76ers Pick & Insights

Heat: Keys To Cover

The Heat could be without their co-leading scorer in Butler on Monday, but fortunately they’ve got plenty of offensive depth to fill the void. Outside of Butler, Miami has five others averaging 10-plus points per game this season, and with Herro playing possibly his best basketball ever, the Heat should be able to at least keep this one tight, if not win it outright.

76ers: Keys To Cover

The Sixers will be looking for a big bounce-back performance after a sluggish outing against the Raptors. Embiid usually responds with a huge game following a disappointing showing and if he can pop off for 40-plus points like he so often does, Philadelphia will be in great shape to pick up the win.
