Raptors Haven't Lost Six Straight in Two Years
The best teams in the Eastern Conference have been playing like anything but contenders of late, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors running into a proverbial wall in the last few weeks. The Raps will try to snap a season-long five-game losing streak when they welcome the Milwaukee Bucks north of the border on Friday.
Toronto’s worst loss of the campaign came last Friday in the form of a 113-78 setback to Charlotte, but the Raptors have suffered two consecutive crushing two-point defeats to San Antonio and Memphis since. The Raps will play their next three at home against sub-.500 teams, which is a great opportunity for the second-best team in the East to get back on track. The Dinos haven’t lost six straight since February 2015.
The Bucks are also ice-cold, having lost six of their last seven contests. Milwaukee is surrendering an average of 112 points during that span and gave up a season-high 72 points in the first half of Wednesday’s 114-109 home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Toronto has dominated this series in recent years. The Raptors have won each of their last six meetings with the Bucks.
