Milwaukee Looks To Continue Its Dominance Over Indiana
The Milwaukee Bucks are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three games against Indiana and 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight games against the Pacers. The Bucks will try to earn another win over the Pacers on Thursday night in Indiana.
Sportsbook Odds Analysis
The Bucks opened as 8.5-point favorites but have been bet down slightly to Milwaukee +8. The total has seen a more extreme shift since Sportsbook at 239.5 points as bettors favoring the OVER have bumped the line up to 244 points. The UNDER is 6-1 in Indiana’s last seven home games against Milwaukee.
Milwaukee News & Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 27 points and had 12 rebounds in Milwaukee’s 114-102 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night. The Bucks improved to 6-1 SU over their last seven games with the win but fell to 0-4 ATS over their last four games after failing to cover the spread as 15-point favorites. Milwaukee enters this matchup with a 19-15 SU and 14-20 ATS record on the road.
The Bucks will likely end the regular season with the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference as the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets have some easy games down the stretch to lock up the top two seeds. Improving their play on the road will be essential to Milwaukee’s chances of trying to upset Brooklyn and Philadelphia this postseason if they meet in later rounds.
Indiana News & Notes
Caris LeVert had 24 points on Tuesday night to help lead the Pacers to a 103-94 upset win over Philadelphia as 5.5-point home underdogs. LeVert has been an excellent fit with the Pacers since joining the team earlier this season in the four-team trade that sent Victor Oladipo to the Houston Rockets.
The 26-year-old shooting guard has averaged 20.8 points per game with the Pacers and is averaging 26 points through his first seven games in May.
Former Bucks point guard Malcolm Brogdon has been out since the beginning of the month with a hamstring injury and will not be able to return for this matchup. LeVert has been the team’s primary scorer in Brogdon’s absence and Domantas Sabonis has picked up the slack as well, averaging 24.6 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists per game this month. Indiana is 3-1 SU and ATS over its last four games.
Betting Pick: Indiana +8
Indiana has been showing some bite as an underdog lately in upsets over Philadelphia and the Atlanta Hawks. This should be a more competitive game than the spread would indicate.
