Randle Stays Hot As Knicks Win Fourth Straight

The Knicks kept their win streak alive Sunday as they topped the Sacramento Kings 112-99. RJ Barrett and Julius Randle each scored 27 points to lead New York while Domantas Sabonis (20 points, 12 rebounds) was the only player to record 20-plus for Sacramento.

While both Barrett and Jalen Brunson have seen their scoring rates take notable hits in December, Randle has picked up his pace, averaging 27.2 points per game through five contests this month – five points more than his season average. The power forward had back-to-back 30-point performances prior to Sunday’s win, netting 34 against Atlanta and 33 against Charlotte.

Bulls Lose Tough One To Hawks In OT

The Bulls lost a heartbreaker on Sunday, falling 123-122 to the Atlanta Hawks in overtime. Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 28 points to lead the Hawks while five others finished in double digits. DeMar DeRozan (34 points, 13 rebounds) had a double-double for Chicago in the loss.

Chicago has had a mediocre start to the season and that stems from a lack of offensive options. While DeRozan (26 points per game) and Zach LaVine (21.8 points per game) have been solid, they haven’t had much help, with only two other Bulls scoring 10-plus points per contest.

Bulls Player Prop: DeRozan OVER 29 Points (+112)

Chicago’s leading scorer had a slow start to December but has picked up the pace in his last three outings, averaging 29.7 points per game over that span. DeRozan has scored 29-plus in five of his last 11 contests overall, so there’s a fair chance he hits the OVER in this one.

Knicks: Keys To Win

The Knicks have found success in December thanks to some improved defensive play: they’re allowing just 92.8 points per contest over their four-game win streak and have given up more than 100 points just once over that span. With the Bulls short on offensive weapons, the Knicks should be able to lock it down again and keep their streak alive.

Bulls: Keys To Win

Unfortunately, the Bulls look like a two-man team on most nights. Fortunately, those men are pretty good – and almost unstoppable when they’re on. DeRozan had 34 last time out and LaVine is just four games removed from a 41-point performance – they’ll both need to bring the heat if they’re going to snap New York’s streak.
