Philadelphia Seeks Commanding 3-0 Series Lead Against Washington
The Philadelphia 76ers are 12-2 SU and 9-5 ATS over their last 14 games including back-to-back wins over the Washington Wizards to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round series against the Wizards. The 76ers will be looking to extend their series lead to 3-0 this Saturday night in Washington.
Sportsbook Odds Analysis
The 76ers opened as 5.5-point road favorites and have received enough betting action to bump the line up to Philadelphia -6. The total has moved down to 227.5 since Sportsbook at 228.5 for Game 3. Washington is 10-2 SU in its last 12 home games against the 76ers.
Philadelphia News & Notes
Ben Simmons scored 22 points in 29 minutes of play, Joel Embiid scored 22 points in 26 minutes and Tobias Harris scored 19 points in 23 minutes as the 76ers coasted to a 120-95 win in Game 2. Philadelphia took a 71-57 lead into the half which game Doc Rivers the luxury of getting his starting five plenty of rest down the stretch. The 76ers have scored at least 120 points in each of their last four games and are averaging 123.8 points per game over that stretch.
Now the real test begins in Washington. The 76ers have been dominant at home all season with a 31-7 SU and 23-14-1 ATS record, but on the road they were far less impressive with a 20-16 SU and 16-17-3 ATS record. Philadelphia would love to set the tone for the rest of the postseason with a pair of strong road performances against the Wizards.
Washington News & Notes
Bradley Beal has scored 33 points in each of the first two games of this series which is right on par with his regular season average of 31.5 points per game. Russell Westbrook on the other hand has not produced to his regular season standard of 22.2 points per game in this series. Westbrook has shot only 9-for-27 from the floor and averaged 13 points per game in this series.
The star point guard was limited to just 10 points in 29 minutes of action on Wednesday before leaving the game early with an ankle injury. Westbrook is questionable to return in Game 3. Even if he does play, he will almost certainly be at less than 100 percent, which doesn’t bode well for Washington against this powerhouse 76ers team.

This is a must-win game for the Wizards after the team fell into an 0-2 hole in Philadelphia. With home court and desperation, the Wizards should at least be able to keep this one competitive even if they don’t end up winning outright.
