Daily Fantasy Review: Dabble Fantasy

Dabble Fantasy is a mobile-only daily fantasy (DFS) pick’em platform that combines the fun of DFS pick’em games with the social aspect of sports. Many DFS players are familiar with popular brands such as FanDuel and DraftKings but there are plenty of other options in the market such as Dabble Fantasy, each providing a different experience that may be more tailored to you upon research.

Fortunately for you, I’ve looked into Dabble Fantasy and will provide you with some of my findings to hopefully expedite your decision making process. I’ve been playing DFS and sports betting for nearly 18 years now and have been part of the Odds Shark team since 2018.

When it comes to Dabble, there were two things that drew my attention right off the hop. The first was a no deposit bonus. Along with the social aspect and robust wagering options, the customer service is very strong and is available on desktop or through the app, as well as social platforms like Facebook, Instagram and X. I do a lot of my sports betting and DFS entries on desktop rather than on mobile so not having that option was a bit of a drawback, but Dabbles app was clean and intuitive so what they lack in one area they make up for in the efforts they put in mobile.

As mentioned above, the heart of Dabble is the social aspect, or Banter as they call it. Within the Banter section, there are large community chats for players using Dabble, also broken down by sports if you don’t care to have your feed flooded with NHL talk when you’re an NBA player, to share strategies and entries.

Further, you and your friends can have private chats where you can slam each other’s cards, talk strategy or just have a place where you can securely talk amongst each other. Another intriguing feature on the app is the ability to add a description of your pick’em entry where you can show you work that made you come to your picks for the night which can help other Dabble users.

With Dabble, you build your entries based on a designated stat for a given player ie. will Luka Doncic have higher or lower than 32 points vs the Nuggets or will Patrick Mahomes throw for higher or lower than 249.5 passing yards vs the Raiders?

The minimum stake for your entry is $5 so it’s a low threshold for a novice player and you must make at least two picks which would 3x your entry free. Quite simply, two correct picks with a $5 wager returns $15. The more selections on your entry, the higher the multiplier up to 12 correct picks which pays out 1,000x your stake up to a maximum of $50,000.

For your entry to win you have the option to go all-in in which the multiplier grows with every selection, but every selection must hit for you to win. Alternatively, there is a hedge option in which you can provide some insurance on your entry allowing for a loss but also a reduction in payout.

Getting into the action has a lower barrier to entry as well with minimum deposits set at just $5 which is about half of the industry average of $10. Dabble accepts major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard as well as Apple Pay and bank transfers using Aeropay. Withdrawals are approved rapidly, within a few hours, and should appear within your bank between 2-3 days later.

How To Sign Up

To sign up for Dabble, you’ll need to fill out a fairly standard form including information such as your name, email, date of birth and address. Once the form is complete, you’ll verify your account by choosing a unique password and username. 

The last step before you can start playing is making a deposit which you can do in the top-right corner of your app that shows balance.
