There’s a lot to like about the BetMGM app including its intuitive interface that’s friendly for beginners. Those who travel a lot or live close to a state line will appreciate the fact that it’s easy toggle between different states or provinces within the app. BetMGM offers a wide range of sports including some of the more obscure ones like cycling, Gaelic games, rugby, and handball, but each state’s BetMGM sports offerings are slightly different. BetMGM features an impressive live streaming option where users can watch select Major League Baseball games while live betting. BetMGM’s customer service is rock solid with a 24/7 live chat option or telephone help between 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. ET.

BetMGM’s generous odds boost tokens for various sports are often between 25-33% and allow you to increase your payouts if your wager wins. The book is also known to surprise users with random boosts, for instance in February it revealed a “Gretzky boost” (of course named after its promotional partner Wayne Gretzky) if three different NHL players notched 1+ points in their game. Ordinarily the bet would pay +200, but instead with the promotion, it paid +250.

BetMGM could improve by offering more competitive odds and expanding its selection of MLB live streaming options and to offer NBA, NHL, or NFL live streams.

As you peruse through the BetMGM app you’ll see a lot of familiar faces like Jamie Foxx, Jalen Rose and Barry Sanders. These brand ambassadors’ images are splashed throughout your betting experience on an app that is visually appealing.

For those who travel between state lines a lot, the app offers an easy one-click way to toggle between apps in each state. Of course you can’t make bets while in other states or provinces, but it can be useful to take a look at what is available.

BetMGM’s app is intuitive and consists of four main tabs at the bottom. The “Home” tab is where you’ll spend the bulk of your time inputting bets and line shopping. The “My bets” tab displays your pending and graded bets, while the “promotions” tab keeps you abreast of unique opportunities. Lastly, the “account” tab is where you can access BetMGM’s customer service options and “MGM rewards” info. MGM Rewards, BetMGMs loyalty program, is especially useful if you live near an MGM property or travel to them because you can get excellent perks like room discounts, free parking, or dining incentives.

 

 

 

 

BetMGM Improvements

BetMGM is regularly innovating to improve its user experience. Below is a list of new features that have been upgraded recently.

Live Betting

BetMGM offers a comprehensive live betting menu that includes even obscure sports like handball and table tennis. Most sports display the exact time remaining in the game along with the score so you can ensure you don’t put in a stale bet because of a lagging television feed. Some sports provide an estimate of the time remaining in a game, i.e. “< 5:15 “ to signal there’s less than 5:15 remaining in that quarter or period.

The most commonly bet live odds are conveniently displayed right next to this information, and if you click the small “All wagers” link in the bottom right hand corner of a game, it will display an expanded menu of betting options for that contest. Like with most sportsbooks, BetMGM’s live betting odds often have extra vigorish in them compared to pre-game odds.

Is BetMGM Safe?

BetMGM is definitely safe and regulated and thus you can deposit and wager with confidence knowing you’ll have a hassle-free withdrawal process if you win. In Nevada, if you’re withdrawing cash from a casino in person, you need to initiate your withdrawal on the app first because it can take several hours to be processed.
