Caesars Review
This review of Caesars Sportsbook provides the details bettors care about to help understand what sets Caesars apart from other apps. In this article, I discuss the pros and cons of Caesars Sportsbook and its different to help you make an informed decision about whether or not to sign up.
Other sportsbook reviews have more fluff than the peanut butter aisle at a grocery store, but at OddsShark we give you the details you need to make a decision. My name is Tony Farmer, I’m an avid sports bettor who has written sports and sports betting content for several publications over the years. Currently I host “The Huddle” Podcast for Odds Shark and I routinely provide them with regular written content about sports betting.
From its innovative additions to its NFL live streaming options, I’ll cover in detail everything that makes Caesars one of the most recognizable and trusted sportsbooks in the industry.
Welcome Offer and Promotions
Generous offers become a regular thing after signing up for an account at Caesars. Caesars offers and promotions are constantly being updated, but the Caesars promotion page will help you keep up with the latest information to ensure you're not experiencing FOMO.
Caesars Sign-up Bonus
Caesars currently has two welcome offers and new customers can decide which one they like and opt in on the promotions page. You can receive $150 in bonus bets when your $1 bet wins or you can get ten 100% profit boosts (up to $25) after betting $1.
Best Caesars Offers for existing users
Promos | Description |
---|---|
🙌 Caesars Rewards | Caesars has an industry-leading rewards program. Bettors rack up rewards and climb tiers based on their play. As you climb, you can claim generous perks such as bonus bets and free wagers or discounts on dining and entertainment. |
🚀 Bet Boosts | It's normal to log into your Caesars app and see 40-50 bet boosts from various sports from the NFL to lacrosse and EPL soccer. The boosts have a "Time Left" timer letting you know when that game is about to start. As an example, in March just prior to the NCAA Tournament, there was a +700 boost for Oregon, Memphis, Auburn and Wisconsin to all win. |
🤝 Refer-a-frend | If you simply share your Caesars referral link with friends and that friend makes a deposit of $50+, and wagers $50+, you both receive 5,000 rewards credits within seven days. |
🚀Parlay Boosts | Recently we found a 50% parlay profit boost token for college basketball, plus a 100% same game parlay boost for an NFL contest. You simply opt in and apply it to a qualifying wager. |
Caesars Strengths
- Slider Feature
The easy to use left-to-right slider feature at Caesars is great for betting alt lines (see photo below). It's easy on the eyes and odds update automatically as you move the slider.
- Super Bowl Betting
Even before we know who the teams are in the Super Bowl, Caesars posts odds for the big game. They also offer Super Bowl cross-sport odds that you won't find at most other sportsbooks. So you can bet on who will score more points, the starting Super Bowl QB or the point guard for the Pistons who plays the same night.
- Women's NCAAB Selection
Other books cheat a little when it comes to women's college basketball and only post odds for premier games. Caesars consistently posts lines for more women's college basketball games than some competitors.
- Football Teaser Prices
Two team, six point NFL teasers at Caesars are -125 and the same bet for college is +100. There are several sportsbook who charge -135 or -140 for NFL 2T6P teasers or -130 for college ones.
Caesars Weaknesses
- Boosts Lacking Comparative Info
The boost menu shows you the boosted price for your potential wager, but it doesn't display the non-boosted price. The boosts are legit, but I like how other sportsbooks display the old odds and the boosted odds side-by-side.
- Moneylines sometimes removed
For sports with a lot of blowouts like college basketball, Caesars sometimes removes the moneyline betting option for a huge 20-point favorite.
- Slower to post certain props
While Caesars has a fine prop selection, it can be slower to post specific odds markets. For example, we noticed Caesars sometime doesn't have the anytime goal scorer (NHL) props the morning of games and it can be slower to post anytime touchdown lines (NFL) than other books.
- Limited NCAAB Alt Team Totals
Caesars usually doesn't offer alt team totals before tip off for men's or women's college basketball games. Otherwise the selection on props at Caesars is really solid.
Caesars App & Features

If you’re someone who has a hard time making a decision or creating bets, you’ll appreciate the eye-catching pre-built “quick pick” parlays with catchy titles like “Nugg Life” (a Denver Nuggets bet), or “Ohio is for Lovers” (A parlay featuring Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen) that adorn the top of the app. It’s also common to see multiple easy-to-scroll odds boost opportunities that are one click away. The app is attractive, easy-to-use and features several perks you can’t find at other sportsbooks. A robust list of sports to choose from is easy to find and includes volleyball, table tennis, and water polo.
The Caesars app has a helpful "My promotions" section at the bottom of the app and you can easily change from American odds to fractional odds or decimal odds.
Caesars vs. Competitors
Live Betting
Caesars offers live betting AKA in-play betting with a wide selection of sports and competitive live odds market. Of course, live odds generally have more vigorish than pre-game odds but Caesar's live odds are often more bettor friendly than some other sportsbook’s live odds for the same game. The Caesars live betting page is intuitive and displays relevant information (score, time remaining, etc.). Caesars also provides a “Game Tracker” tab so you can follow along with each pitch, shot, or throw in your game. "Micro-betting" is also an option at Caesars for those interested in betting on small details of a game, such as the next team to make a shot on goal in an NHL game.

Live Streaming
Caesars' "Watch and Bet" feature allows you to live stream games from their sportsbook and enjoy them while you sweat out the action. Keep in mind you have to have placed a wager in the last 10 months and have at least 10 cents in your account to view the action.
Caesars was the first sportsbook (2022) to offer live streamed NFL games and you can still stream every Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, and Monday Night Football game. Select NBA and College Basketball games are available for streaming at Caesars too.
Betting Markets and Odds
Caesars has a wide range of betting markets. Using soccer as an example, you can find soccer odds for games in far away places like South Korea, Poland, and India. Caesars features soccer props that aren't available at some other books like betting on fouls/cards.
Caesars odds are definitely fair and reasonable. As pointed out above, they have some of the better football teaser prices in the industry and their odds in other markets are consistently competitive.
What Sports Can I Bet On With Caesars?
- Image
NFL - You can bet on NFL squares each week at Caesars and there's always unique props to choose from. The player props for football games is impressive and the live betting is really solid too.
- Image
NBA - The NBA player props at Caesars are seriously impressive and I appreciate that they sometimes offer lookahead lines for premier games that are highly anticipated. Many other sportsbooks just offer odds for games for the next/same day.
- Image
NHL - Hockey fans appreciate vast options for NHL props including markets for goals scored in the first 10 or 15 minutes of a game. The NHL bet boosts throughout the season are really helpful for padding the bankroll.
- Image
MLB - I like Caesars' 3-way "Race to X runs" market with "neither team" as the third option. You can bet on a wide range of other props including the runs scored in each inning before the first pitch is even throw.
Caesars customers can also bet on a big selection of other well known sports like NCAA Basketball, NCAA Football, golf, NASCAR, soccer, tennis, WNBA, CFL, horse racing, and combat sports like boxing and the UFC.
Sports that are less celebrated are are also available at Caesars, but remember that your state's laws determine which sports Caesars can offer you. Caesars customers in most placed can bet on: Australian Rules Football, cricket, cycling, darts, lacrosse, rugby, sailing, surfing, and international volleyball from places like Turkey.
What Type of Bets Can I Make at Caesars?
- Image
Totals (OVER/UNDER) - Sportsbooks have gotten created and added a bunch of betting options that weren't available before online gambling existed. However, sometimes tradtional bets like moneylines, point spreads and totals are what the doctor ordered.
- Image
Same Game Parlays (SGPs) - You can bet Same Game Parlays before and after a game or match starts and the menu of options you can choose from is impressive. Go ahead and build a monster!
- Image
Live Betting - Sportsbooks can be vulnerable to a bettor who is competent at live betting and the more you watch a sport, the more you're able to identify soft spots to take advantage of. If you're betting basketball, remember foul trouble is a key component of live betting.
- Image
Futures - The futures markets at Caesars feature options you might not find other places. For instance, several months before the MLB season you can bet on who will lead the league in homers, triples, doubles, or stolen bases. Of course you can also bet on award winners (MVP, etc.) and league champions too.
There are no shortage of betting options at Caesars. Tennis bettors enjoy betting which athlete will win specific sets or the total (OVER/UNDER) number of games. UFC bettors can bet YES/NO on if a fight will go the distance and you can sometimes bet on if the next Super Bowl champ will be a first time winner or not.
Caesars stands out from the crowd with a nice selection of futures props for several sports. You'll find exact Super Bowl markets if you dare try and predict the two teams who will meet in February.

Customer Service
The brand Caesars is known for having good customer service at its properties and it carries over into their sports betting app too. I've notice using their telephone help that if I have speakerphone on, the robot directing me to the correct agent can't understand me. Caesars says their email response time can take up to 24 hours, but in my experience I've always had an answer back in two hours or less. If you prefer to contact Caesars through social media, they welcome customers reaching out via X.
