Will UNDER Trend Continue In Game 6 of World Series?
The Indians will look to secure another championship for the city of Cleveland when they host the Chicago Cubs for Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday. The series has been a crazy one between the two teams, but the one constant has been the UNDER, which has hit in four of the five games so far. Individually, the Indians have gone UNDER in 11 of their 13 postseason games, with the Cubs failing to top the total in seven of their past 10.
Josh Tomlin will be making just the second start of his career on three days' rest, with the first coming way back in 2010. Tomlin surrendered two hits and no runs in his Game 3 start, which was intentionally short to keep the righty fresh. Tomlin has been lights out during the postseason, with a 1.76 ERA and 11 strikeouts to four walks.
Jake Arrieta will be making his fourth road start of the postseason when he takes to the bump for the Cubs. Arrieta showed his Cy Young form in his Game 2 start, as he allowed just two hits and one run across 5.2 innings. Arrieta did struggle with control issues early in that outing, something that can likely be attributed to the frigid temperatures.
