What Are MLB Parlay Picks?

Our baseball experts build out their parlays using a variety of different types of betting formats. Generally, they pick three or more individual bets and then combine them together for a wager with a higher payout.

Here are the most common wager formats to know for these MLB parlays:

Moneyline

Moneyline betting is pretty simple. All you need to do to win an MLB moneyline pick is choose which team will win the game. It’s simple – if you bet the Guardians moneyline over the White Sox and Cleveland wins, you win your bet.

Runline

The runline is another name for a point spread that you may be more familiar with in NBA and NFL betting. A baseball runline is almost always a 1.5-point spread, meaning the favored team needs to win by over 1.5 runs (or the losing team can lose by under 1.5 runs or win outright).

Totals (Over/Under)

Another common wager across all sports is totals betting, where you wager on the total runs scored in a baseball game. You are simply choosing whether the final score will be over or under a pre-set total, like 9.5 runs.

Player Props

Our MLB experts usually mix in a prop bet or two to these baseball parlays, which is betting on specific market for an individual player. An example can be a pitcher's strikeout total (over or under) or a players hit total.
