I'm off for the next two days, so let me get you a few winning MLB expert picks before I leave.
I've got one safe pick and then one kind of risky selection, where I'm banking on one of the league's worst starters to turn it around.
With lines from some top sportsbooks, here are my two MLB picks for tonight:

Pick 1: Giants (-130) vs Mets
Matchup Preview - Game Time: 3:45pm ET
Blake Snell has had a rough go of it to start off his 2024. After signing late in the spring, Snell has been playing catch up and it shows in the results. He's allowed 15 earned runs in his first three starts (11.2 IP).
But, he looked a little better in his most recent outing, 'only' allowing five runs, while striking out three to just one walk. That outing also came against a DBacks team that's been one of the best in the league vs LHP. It'll also help Snell that he's facing a Mets team that's really struggling for runs right now. New York has scored just three tallies in their last three games, combined.
Pick 2: Guardians (-140) vs Red Sox
Matchup Preview - Game Time: 6:10 pm ET
We saw this exact matchup play out last week, with Boston's Cooper Criswell taking on Cleveland's Carlos Carrasco. The Guardians vet kept up his surprisingly strong season, pitching 5.2 innings with two earned runs against and leading Cleveland to victory.
With Carrasco's strong play and Criswell's suspect track record, I suspect a similar result tonight. Another key for me here is the bullpens, as Cleveland has the second-lowest bullpen ERA in baseball (2.05). The 'pen should be pretty rested, too, as Cleveland had an off day on Monday. So, after Carrasco comes out they should have a clear advantage, too.
