I can't pick a side, so I'm betting on runs as the main component for my Red Sox vs Yankees same-game parlay today. My three legs on my parlay pick include prop bets on Rafael Devers and Aaron Judge, as well as the run total OVER. My Red Sox vs Yankees same-game parlay comes in at +182.

Here are three legs for my Red Sox vs Yankees same-game parlay today:

Red Sox vs Yankees Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Devers Over 0.5 Hits

Devers is on a hot streak with 13 hits in his last 10 games, raising his season average up to .288. He's also been pretty great against Yankees starter Nestor Cortes in the past, with Devers owning a 1.242 OPS off the pitcher in 11 career at-bats. Cortes has allowed seven or more hits in three of his last six starts too, so there should be opportunity for Devers to get on.

I wanted to keep it simple with a single hit, to increase our chances of nailing this parlay, but I also love Devers' over 1.5 total bases mark tonight at +110 if you're looking for more value. The Red Sox 3B has gone over that mark in three of his last four games and six of his last nine. You can get O1.5 TB for Devers at around +110.

Red Sox vs Yankees Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Judge Over 0.5 Hits

Judge has been held hitless in just 26 of his 87 starts this year — that's getting a hit about 70.1% of the time. This -250 line on Judge to get a hit implies 71.43% odds. That may not seem like surplus value, but this pitching matchup and Judge's recent run gives us the edge.

Judge is hitting .333 off Boston starter Tanner Houck in 11 career plate appearances. He also has 15 hits in his last 10 contests, raising his season batting average up to .314. If you want one final dagger, Judge has at least one hit in his last four games against the Red Sox.

Banking on a big day from the current AL MVP favorite also leads us into the OVER here, too. In the 30 games where Judge has homered this season, the total score has gone over 8.0 runs in 24 of those.

Red Sox vs Yankees Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: OVER 8.0 Total Runs

I just laid out why both teams’ star bats are going to have big days, but everything else about this game screams OVER to me, as well.

The Red Sox and Yankees have both gone OVER in eight of their last nine games and rank out as two of the top-10 teams on the OVER this season. New York hits the over 54.7% of the time this season, while Boston is at 52.5%.

There’s also big blow-up potential in both of these starting pitchers. Houck allowed eight runs in his last start and five of his last six games have finished with totals above 8.0. Cortes has been a little more consistent lately, but three of his last six outings have finished OVER 8.0, too.

Even the baseline stats here tell us a line of 8.0 probably isn't high enough. Both Boston and New York have top-seven team OPS and are averaging over 5.5 runs per game each in the last month. Last time I checked, 5.5+5.5 is more than eight.
