While I think this game could go either way, I’m much fonder of the Dodgers boost offerings at bet365. Here we can get a parlay of Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani OVER 1.5 total bases, alongside a Dodgers dub for +550 (boosted from +500). Now, Betts and Ohtani were great in the NLCS, but it’ll be a big leap to get them both going in a single game. The value is long, but the parlay is worth it.
My instincts tell me Gerrit Cole will have a rough go in Game 1. He has excellent numbers against Ohtani, but not so much against Betts, who is 7-for-17 lifetime against the Yankees ace. You need to wager on some upside on these boots, and, again, Ohtani and Betts are the dudes. You’re going to tell me Ohtani will crumble under the bright lights of a Game 1 World Series appearance at Dodger Stadium? Unlikely.
Caesars World Series Game 1 Bet Boost
If you’re looking for a Yankees play, I’ll turn to Caesars Sportsbook, which has laid out a very nice Bronx Bombers boost on Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton each to record OVER 1.5 total bases. Like Ohtani and Betts, Soto and Stanton have been the Yanks’ best hitters this postseason, with the latter fella claiming the ALCS MVP just days ago.
Neither hitter has much of a sample vs Dodgers starter Jack Flaherty, but Soto and Judge put on a show against the Guardians. Stanton cashed the OVER 1.5 total bases in four of five games during that series, while Soto hit the OVER in three of five. It’s been power or bust for both these Yankees sluggers, which is fine for the sake of our Caesars bet boost, as New York will need some extra-base pop to set the tone in Game 1 of this series.
