Nets vs 76ers Sportsbook Odds
The Nets opened as the 7-point favorite on the road with the total set at 217.5 points. The UNDER is 8-3 in Brooklyn’s last 11 outings while Philadelphia has won six of the last eight meetings at Wells Fargo Center, though with so many injuries to Philly’s lineup it’s hard to justify taking them over the visitors in your Nets vs 76ers prediction.

Irving Makes His Return To Nets Lineup
The Nets won their second straight game, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 127-115 on Sunday. Kevin Durant (26 points) and Ben Simmons (22 points) had solid nights for Brooklyn while five others had double digits in the victory. Dillon Brooks led all scorers with 31 points for the Grizzlies, who were outscored 70-53 in the second half.
Kyrie Irving made his return to the lineup in the win, recording 14 points and five rebounds in 26 minutes of action. Irving had missed the last eight games due to a suspension but with the point guard back on the floor, the Nets should be back to full strength. With Irving only in the lineup for about half the games this season, Brooklyn’s offense has slowed down, producing just 111.6 points per game – 16th in the NBA.
Embiid Goes Down In Loss To Minnesota
The 76ers had their three-game win streak snapped on Saturday as they fell 112-109 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards had 25 points to top Minnesota while four of his teammates scored 10-plus. Joel Embiid had another monster night for the Sixers with 32 points and nine rebounds, while Shake Milton was also productive with 27 points in a losing effort.
The big story coming out of the loss, though, was a foot injury to Embiid in the fourth quarter. The Sixers star suffered a mid-foot sprain and is expected to miss Philadelphia’s next two games – a back-to-back set against Brooklyn and Charlotte on Tuesday and Wednesday. The undermanned 76ers are also without James Harden (foot) as well as Tyrese Maxey (foot).
Nets: Keys To Win
Durant and Irving have been doing their jobs (when in the lineup), averaging a combined 55 points per game, but the rest of the team is going to need to step it up offensively for the Nets to string together some wins. The team’s third-leading scorer, Nic Claxton, is at just 11.5 points per game – that’s just not good enough. We’ll see if Claxton and the others can help out Brooklyn’s top duo.
76ers: Keys To Win
The Sixers are completely depleted going into Tuesday’s matchup, missing their top three scorers in Embiid (32.3 points per game), Maxey (22.9) and Harden (22.0). Their only remaining regular starters are Tobias Harris, who is likely to play after a hip injury, and PJ Tucker. The 76ers obviously won’t have much scoring punch, so their best option may be to turn this into a defensive slugfest.
