Warriors on a Roll Heading Into Homestand
Well, it seems the Warriors have finally found their rhythm. Golden State is in the midst of a 10-game winning streak and they’ve covered three in a row. This is obviously a scary team when it’s firing on all cylinders and it seems to be doing just that as Steve Kerr has his boys ready to hold it down during a five-game homestand which begins tonight against Minnesota.
You have to feel bad for any team that gets caught in the wake of the Warriors right now and the seemingly toothless Timberwolves look like minnows heading into their matchup with a Golden State team that’s been preying on everything in sight.
The big worry this season was that there wouldn’t be enough touches for all the GS superstars to get their looks. That was obviously a ridiculous notion as the spread of talent present on the Warriors’ floor has led to everyone getting better chances and has produced the most efficient offense in basketball.
Kevin Durant is currently shooting the ball at an insane .574 from the floor which is by far the highest percentage he’s ever shot in his career yet he’s still averaging 4.8 assists per game. This team can do some special things this year and the T-Wolves will only be fodder for that tonight.
