Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Minnesota Timberwolves ML

The sincerest of apologies to the Timberwolves and their fans for ever doubting their ability to take a stranglehold of this series after just two games. Phoenix took the season series 3-0 and held a double-digit lead throughout the second half of every outing, but that all feels like a distant memory at this point stemming from how dominant Minnesota has looked through two playoff games.

The Suns rank third-last this postseason in offense at just 98.9 points scored per 100 possessions, which is just a single point ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the overall worst mark. Minnesota's defense has made complete afterthoughts of two of the league's premier scorers in Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, while having six players on its own roster average double-digit scoring. Not one of them is the man who just won Sixth Man of the Year in Naz Reid, who's still contributing 8.5 a night.

As the saying goes, a series doesn't truly begin until the home team loses. There's another saying, though, about how styles make fights. The regular season feels like an anomaly at this time, because Phoenix is outsized, outgunned, and getting outclassed by a Minnesota squad that's a surprising underdog tonight. Take those odds and run.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Jaden McDaniels OVER 11.5 Points

If you had the Timberwolves winning a playoff game against the Suns without Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley, or Reid off the bench leading them in scoring, then good on you.

Jaden McDaniels was the star of the show on Tuesday, dropping a game-high 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting while adding eight rebounds and three assists in 41 minutes of action. It was one point shy of his career high of 26 points which he registered twice this season, and just the eighth time in 2023-24 McDaniels scored 20 or more points.

He's going to see the floor a ton as Minnesota's strongest perimeter defender, which is a necessity considering all of Phoenix's star players are wings. McDaniels has played the most minutes on the Timberwolves, and there's a golden rule in sports betting that more playing time means a greater opportunity to hit the OVER on player props, which McDaniels is projected to do later tonight.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Bradley Beal UNDER 17.5 Points

Phoenix fans are waiting for that explosive offensive performance from Beal to come to light a fire under both himself and his team, but they may be waiting a long time for such a box score to come.

Beal's 14.5 points per game this series are the seventh-most by any player on both sides. He's also converting just 44.5 percent of his shot attempts, which is well down from the 51.3 percent he shot during the season.

The 30-year-old shooting guard finished with 15 and 14 points in Games 1 and 2, respectively, seeing the floor for more than 37 minutes each time. As great as he's proven to be offensively in years past, Beal is still at best the third option in Phoenix's pecking order, so if anyone is going to command the ball in Game 3, it probably won't be him.
